This swordsmith, Omi no Kami Minamoto Kunimasa, was active during the mid Edo Period, Genroku Era. He was a disciple of Hidetoki from Aizu. He was active in Nakamura, Mutsu Province and later moved to Edo. It has passed the Hozon Shinsa in December 2023. It comes with a Handachi-wakizashi style Koshirae with a black lacquer Ishimeji-nuri Saya. |
