This swordsmith, Nobushige from Sakushu, was a Samurai of the Katsuyama Clan in Mimasaka Province. He was active during the Bakumatsu Period. He learned his forging skills from Tada masatoshi, who was a disciple famous Hosokawa Masayoshi. Tadamasatoshi was an official worker of the Tsuyama Clan in Mimasaka Province. This Wakizashi is very sound with an outstanding Mokumei Kitae. It passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Token Shinsa in 2023. |
