The Mei is Keikio Harukuni, but his real name was Suzuki Hachiro Harukuni. He was a disciple of Kuroda Takanobu, who was a disciple of Ozaki Suketake. This swordsmith was active in Settsu Province during the late Edo Period. Keikio of this Mei means, accumulating happy things throughout life. The Hamon shows Midareba with Sudareba. It has passed the Hozon Token and comes with a Wakizashi style Koshirae with a black lacquer Aogai-mijin and Isokusan-nuri pattern Saya. |
