Other Info
Norimitsu (則光), is a lineage of swordsmiths. The first generation was said to be a disciple of Nagamitsu from Osafune, Bizen Province. The lineage continued for ten generations. The Norimitsu during the Kansho Era held a high reputation among the lineage. This Wakizashi was forged in 1460, 2nd year of Kansho Era and remains relatively sound. There is only minor flaw of Kitae-ware on the Kissaki omote side. But considering the overall condition, it is acceptable.
