| This Kogatana was forged by Kuniyoshi from Tsugaru. He was born in 1928 in Aomori Prefecture as the son of Nigara Yoshinobu. He studied swordsmithing from his older brother, Nigara Kunitoshi, a Mukansa swordsmith. He became qualified as a swordsmith in 1958. He received many prizes for his swordsmithing. The total length is 19.6cm, the blade length is 12.2cm, the width is 1.29cm, and the thickness is 0.22cm |
