The theme of this Kozuka is 'Otafuku' a homely woman, especially, a woman with a small, low nose, high, flat forehead and bulging cheeks. A plain woman. Otafuku literally means "many fortunes" in Kanji. This craftsman, Hamano Moriyuki, was a disciple of Iwama Masayoshi/Seiro of the Hamano Tradition. It has passed the Hozon Tosogu Shinsa in 2016. |
