This swordsmith, Echigo no Kami Kanesada, First Generation, was born in the Yamato Province. He moved to Osaka to become a disciple of Iga no Kami Kanemichi, First Generation. Echigo no Kami Kanesada was the teacher of the second generation of Kanesada, who later changed his name to Sakakura Gonnoshin Terukane. This wakizashi has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Token shinsa in 2019. |
