Kawachinokami Sukesada was Yokoyama Nizaemon, son of Sozaemon Sukesada. In 1701, he received the title of "Kawachi no Kami" and was allowed to engrave the "Kikumon/chrysanthemum family crest" and the character "ichi" (one). He usually engraved the "Kikumon/chrysanthemum family crest" and the character "ichi" (one) above "Kawachi no Kami Sukesada". This sword is a long wakizashi sword measuring nearly 1 shaku 8 sun (58.2cm) that has been Suriage/shortened to 1 sun 5 bu (4.6cm) for improved maneuverability. It is a recommendable wakizashi sword that can be one of your collections in good condition and at an affordable price. It has passed the Hozon Token Shinsa in 2024. |
