This swordsmith, Tsutsui Echu no Kami Kanekuni, was a descendent of Kanekuni from the Tegai Tradition in Yamato Province. He moved to Osaka and became a disciple of Tanba no Kami Yoshimichi, first generation. This Wakizashi with Chu kisakki, Shallow curvature, with a dignified impression. The flamboyant, Choji-midare Hamon is remarkable. It comes with a Wakizashi style koshirae with an Inden and black koshi-kizami nuri saya that was ordered by a koshirae connoisseur. A beautiful masterpiece. It has passed the Hozon Token in 2013. |
