Fukui Jizaemon[福井次左衛門] was a representative tsuba craftsman of Owari in the early Edo period. He carved a fine-printed mei/inscription, and left behind a tsuba made in 1682[天和二年]. This tsuba depicts auspicious clouds and a crescent moon are openworked, and the gold line inlay on the dote-mimi rim is partially remained, perhaps representing the wind. It has passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in November 2024.
