The refined and delicate openwork design depicts a Mitsu-tomoe, three-comma pattern. It has a neat oval-shaped seppadai and a round rim that has some small tekkotsu, but it was attributed to the Shoami tradition at the Tosogu shinsa in November 2024, rather than the Kyoto or Owari tradition. The special tsuba box that it is kept in tells that it is a treasured and excellent item. |
