The theme of this tsuba is 'Double-flowered Plum Tree'. It is boldly depicted with openwork and decorated with gold overlay. The composition is excellent and elegant. The long and neat Seppadai suggests that this is a work by Kyo-shoami from the early Edo period. It passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in May 2025. |
