The founder of the Haruta Tradition was an armor craftsman. The craftsmen of the tradition became officials workers of the Edo Bakufu. Tsunemasa was a well known craftsman from the Unshu-haruta tradition and was active during the Mid Edo Period. This Tsuba has features of Owari Tradition, robust feeling, but has been attributed to the Haruta Tradition. |
