| This Kogatana was forged by Koyama Mutsu no Suke Hiromoto. He was born Nihonmatsu, Mutsu Province. He later moved to Edo where he studied forging under Suishinshi Masahide. He became an official swordsmith of the Nihonmatsu Clan. He passed away in 1843 at the age of 67. The Hamon of this Koganata is Omidare. An attractive hamon. The total length is 19.3cm, the blade length is 12.0cm, the width is 1.12cm, and Thickness is 0.20cm |
