The theme of this Kozuka is Snow Covered Japanese Pampas Grass. On the Omote side the snow covered Japanese Pampas grass is depicted on a copper surface. The Ura side depicts snow fall with an engraved poem that is about cold grave of Kiso Yoshinaka. The backside and front is made of different material referred to as "Chuya" meaning day and night. There is a Kao on the side (Kibata Kao) of Ikkin[一琴]. It has passed the Hozon shinsa in August 2024. |
