Other Info
The theme of this Kozuka is Takarazukushi, Magical Treasures. The ornaments front side consist of a Uchidenokozuchi, a hammer that grants wishes, and Kakure-gasa and Kakure-mino, a hat and straw coat that protects its wearer from bad fortune. On the backside the ornaments are a Houju, a wish-fulfilling jewel and "Hokan" scroll that grants wisdom, other magical items. Both sides are ornamented in gold inlay making for an impressive design and overall Kozuka. It is Mumei, but has been attributed to the Kaga-zogan Tradition and passed the Hozon Shinsa in February 2023.
