Keishinsai Naomasa[慶心斎直正] was a desciple of Taikei Naotane[大慶直胤] and a swordsmith of the Nakamura Domain in Soma, Mutsu Province. He left behind works dating from the 7th year of Kaei to the 6th year of Meiji[1853-1873]. He passed away in 1879.This katana is a reproduce of the Hosho tradition by Keishinsai Naomasa, which shows the clear masame-kitae like his teacher Naotane. It has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Token shinsa in 2015. |
