Keishinsai Naomasa[慶心斎直正] was a disciple of Taikei Naotane[大慶直胤] and a swordsmith of the Nakamura Domain in Soma. He left behind inscriptions from the Kaei period to the Meiji period[1854-1868], including "Made by Miyazaki Echizennokami Naomasa[宮崎越前守直正作之]", "Miyazaki Keishinsai Naomasa[宮崎慶心斎直正]", "Made by a retainer of Nakamura clan, Keishinsai Naomasa[中村臣慶心斎直正作之]". He passed away in 1879 (Meiji 12). This blade has a beautiful and graceful shape with a 2 shaku 3 sun 4 bu koshi-sori style, and the jigane has koitame grain with jinie. The blade is well-made, with a rich variety of choji-hamon. This is a sword made by Keishinsai Naomasa in the end of the Edo period. It coms with the Uchigatana syle Koshirae with a black lacquer saya, and has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Token shinsa in 2023.
