| This tsuba from the Kyo-shōami school features an intermediate style between the Kyo-sukashi and the Owari-sukashi. It is slightly more robust than Kyo-sukashi tsuba yet more refined than Owari-sukashi tusba. Crafted from superb tamahagane iron, it displays an elegant and sophisticated openwork design of Halberd and Flower. It passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa and attributed to the Shōami School in 2025. |
