| This tsuba features well-proportioned hitsu-ana holes, tsuchimeji hammered ground, symmetrical openwork carving, and an overall robust Owari tsuba style with a refined aesthetic. Considering the less tekkotsu than usual owari work, it was attributed to the Owari (Edo period) and passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in 2017. |
