| A single heron perched on the bow symbolizes a Bon Voyage. The one-legged heron, standing steady on the bow, suggests a tranquil course, embodying wishes for a safe journey for those setting out. This tsuba depicts one heron in water and one in sky ahead of a thatched boat. This tsuba is an expression applying the motif of Bon Voyage, an impressive copper based tsuba. It is mumei, but considering the features it is probably the Shonai school. |
