| This tsuba whole ground patterned nanako depicting twin dragons, a gold male dragon and a shakudo female dragon face each other placed on the rim. Considering the workmanship, this tsuba was made by a metalworker belonged to the Yoshioka [吉岡] school, which flourished throughout the Edo period as official craftsmen of the Tokugawa shogunate same as the Goto School. |
