| A tsuba appraised to the Shōami school, Openwork, depicted Myoga Ginger Facing Each Other and Oak Leaves Facing Each Other. Shōami's work is more robust than Kyo-shukashi's yet more refined than Owari-sukashi's. This piece boasts well-forged iron, a large size, and meticulously crafted bamboo-jointed rim. An elegant, openwork tsuba. It passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in 2025. |
