A strange pattern, perhaps related to petals or cloves, was depicted with gold flat wire inlay on a polished copper ground. Josen[如泉] was a student of Murakami Jochiku[村上如竹], and he inscribed his mei/signature in cursive script. A highly original tsuba. It has passed the Hozon shisa in 2019. |
