The theme of this Tsuba is Kikka, Chrysanthemum. The design depicts a Chrysanthemum in a double structure pedal. The inner surface is pedals on the Nanako pattern and the outer part is Sukashi petals. A very elegant design that gives a dignified impression. It is thinner than average and the shape of the Seppudai resembles the Kyo Tradition. It is Mumei but attributed to the Umetada Tradition. It passed the Hozon Tosogu in 2023. |
