Other Info
This is a large, slender, horizontally elongated pair of menuki depicting egrets and fishing nets (aboshi) in flowing water. The gold iroe of the nets and the silver iroe of the egrets enhance the decorative effect. The poetic composition using flowing water is characteristic, and based on the workmanship, it can be attributed to the Yanagawa school (Edo metalworker).
