| An unusual kogai depicting a dragon emerging from a shakudō nanako ground, reminiscent of a “sunamoguri” (sand-burrowing) dragon. The reverse is gilt and the condition is comparatively good. Judging from the workmanship, it is considered to be the work of a Kyoto metalworker. |
