This Tachi has passed the 57th Juyo Shinsa in 2010. This swordsmith, Motomitsu, was active during the Nambokucho Period in Osafune, Bizen Province. It was said he was the son or the disciple of Kanemitsu. His work can be found from 1342 to 1375. The features of his work resemble the work of Kanemitsu.
