The theme of this Fuchikashira is Flying Plovers. This theme symbolizes overcoming difficulties with family. It was crafted by Okada Masaya from Shonai. He was the son of Masachika and a student of Sekibun, first generation. He was active during the late Edo Period in Shonai, Dewa Province. The features of this Fuchikashira resemble the work of Sekibun. It has passed the Tokubetsu Hozon Tosogu in 2023. |
