The two lions are distingished gold and shakudo. The three-sacred lion depicted of kozuka is unique, with two sacred lions are Kamiai-shishi, biting each other. The workmanship is likely the Goto-style sacred lion made of shakudo surface with nanako pattern. It is mumei, but has been attributed to the Kyo-kinko metalwork. It has passed the Hozon Tosogu shinsa in 2017. |
