The theme of this Futatokoro, consisting of Kozuka and Kogai, is Gagaku, Ancient Japanese Court Dance and Music. The Kozuka depicts Costume worn in Gagaku for the theme of "Karyobinga"" that has a human face and bird wings. The Kogai depicts a Sho, a traditional Japanese wind instrument resembling panpipes. The craftsman, Shojishi Hogen Masayuki, was a craftsman of the Nomura Tradition. This Tradition derived from the Goto Tradition and was active during the Edo Period in Awa Province.
